About the role
- Project Engineer delivering software solutions that support production operations in regulated industries. Collaborating with customers for system implementation and project success.
Responsibilities
- Work with customers to understand their production processes and business requirements.
- Analyze customer needs and map them to system functionalities.
- Configure and validate system components based on approved specifications.
- Preparing and executing test scenarios, including acceptance testing.
- Support the customer during all phases of the project from requirement gathering through go-live.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, consultants, developers, etc.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, e.g. functional and technical specification, testing document etc.
- Investigate and troubleshoot system issues, escalating as needed.
- Lead customer-facing workshops, training sessions, and project implementation discussions.
- Follow internal delivery methodology and contribute to process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in IT solution delivery, production system support, or related project roles.
- Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Calm and professional under pressure, with confidence in managing customer expectations.
- Innovative thinker who’s willing to try new ideas in a smart and practical way.
- Great communication in Thai and English both spoken and written.
- Willingness to learn and work with system configuration tools (no programming required).
- Willingness to travel abroad for customer projects.
- Growth mindset with openness to continuous learning and improvement.
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic project situations and cultural differences.
- Understanding the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, or regulated industries is a plus.
- Familiarity with MES, SAP, Automation systems or other enterprise systems is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms is a plus.
