About the role

  • Team Lead in Logistics Operations at KNETTENBRECH + GURDULIC, overseeing team management and operational efficiency in waste management sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative and operational leadership of the dispatch team
  • Ensure staff deployment and route planning to achieve optimal utilization of our fleet in coordination with your team
  • Point of contact for logistics managers and regular reporting on your area of responsibility
  • Continuous optimisation and further development of the department
  • Relationship management with customers and within intercompany operations

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training, preferably in forwarding and logistics
  • Relevant professional experience as a dispatcher in freight transport
  • Qualification as a transport manager (Verkehrsleiter) desirable
  • Initial experience in personnel leadership
  • Strong affinity for numbers and willingness to develop professionally
  • Industry knowledge of the waste management sector desirable
  • Confident demeanor with a high level of organisational and communication skills
