About the role
- Linux System Administrator managing and maintaining complex IT services. Collaborating with teams on system architecture and performance analysis in Graz and remote locations.
Responsibilities
- Support with the operation, administration and maintenance of complex IT services in a Linux environment
- Optimization and expansion of the existing system architecture
- Performance analysis of systems
- Maintenance tasks as well as release and test management for new Linux versions
- Fault analysis and troubleshooting in 2nd/3rd level support
- Participation in IT projects in the Linux and security areas
- Close collaboration with IT infrastructure colleagues
Requirements
- Completed technical education (vocational training or degree)
- Strong understanding of complex systems and interdependencies
- Good knowledge of Linux server environments
- Initial experience with databases, virtualization and containers
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel (approx. 20%)
