About the role
- Consultant Atlassian supporting client agile transformations and implementations. Analyzing needs, leading workshops, and mentoring junior consultants in software project management processes.
Responsibilities
- Understand client needs; analyze/audit the current state (processes & tools)
- Design solutions: scoping, fit assessment, and facilitation of client workshops
- Support implementation: assist with installation and configuration of Atlassian suite tools, integration and configuration of third‑party tools and plugins
- Manage validation and production deployment phases
- Drive change management: rollouts, training, and user support
- Audit and optimize existing processes and tools
- Advise and support clients on tooling and software development & project management practices (support for transitioning to Agile)
- Mentor and develop junior consultants on assignments and projects
- Support commercial development: participate in pre-sales activities, cost estimates, pitches, demonstrations, and lessons-learned sessions
- Contribute to external communications: write blog posts, host webinars, and speak at conferences
- Participate in managing the relationship with the vendor (partnerships, trainings, certifications, commercial leads, tracking new releases, etc.)
- Conduct technology watch on products within the Atlassian ecosystem
Requirements
- Project experience is desirable (as a developer and/or Product Owner (PO) and/or Scrum Master)
- A strong interest in consulting is a prerequisite
- Prior experience in consulting would be an advantage
