About the role
- Field Service Engineer for Linde Material Handling, maintaining and servicing forklifts and material handling equipment. Involves diagnosis, rectification of faults, and preventative maintenance at customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Find, diagnose, and rectify faults
- Undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites
- Work with various types of equipment from small pallet trucks to automated trucks
Requirements
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Hydraulics
- Ideally have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification
- IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Good communication skills to liaise with our customers and your internal colleagues
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Take pride in your work and complete tasks to the highest standard
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A positive and can-do attitude
- Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the role
