About the role
- Controller role in Finance & Real Estate Administration supporting financial processes and rental agreements for KIKO Milano. Based in Berlin, part-time opportunity in a dynamic and inspiring environment.
Responsibilities
- Review of service charge statements, evaluation of disputes, and communication with landlords and external service providers
- Monitoring and verification of ongoing rent payments, including indexation adjustments
- Preparation and review of invoices related to rent-free periods and construction cost allowances (BKZ)
- Management and oversight of direct debit processes for rent payments
- Maintenance and submission of turnover reports and tracking of turnover-based lease agreements
- Monitoring open Purchase Orders (POs), tracking costs, and reconciling with Finance and Controlling teams
- Maintaining and updating templates and approval processes
- Administration and monitoring of deposits, guarantees, and other securities
- Support for new store openings with administrative and financial matters related to leases and payments
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training (e.g., real estate clerk, office clerk, industrial clerk) or equivalent qualification
- Initial professional experience in property management, finance, accounting, or real estate administration is an advantage
- Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems desirable
- Structured, conscientious and solution-oriented working style with a high degree of personal responsibility
- Good understanding of financial and contractual matters (e.g., rent and service charge reconciliations, indexations)
- Strong communication skills in dealings with landlords, service providers and internal departments
- High service orientation, reliability and discretion when handling sensitive data
- Fluent German (spoken and written); English skills are an advantage
