About the role

  • Project Manager leading SAP-driven digital transformation initiatives across multinational companies at John Keells IT. Engaging with stakeholders and overseeing project delivery for IT infrastructure transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of small to medium scale digital transformation programs leveraging SAP and related enterprise solutions and integration platforms.
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders (project sponsors, and functional heads) to define strategic objectives, business requirements, and transformation goals.
  • Develop project charters and execution roadmaps aligned with organizational change management and IT strategies.
  • Overseeing cross-functional project teams including functional consultants, technical architects, business process experts, and external vendors to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Driving SAP Activate methodology and/or Agile delivery frameworks tailored to project and client needs.
  • Managing project budgets, resource allocations, and vendor contracts while ensuring financial accountability and cost efficiency.
  • Monitoring key project KPIs (scope, timeline, cost, and quality) and providing executive-level reporting, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Execute change management efforts, stakeholder communication, and business process alignment across business departments and IT ecosystems.
  • Ensuring full compliance with IT governance, financial controls, and audit standards throughout program execution.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, Project Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of project management experience, leading system integration, ERP system implementation or IT infrastructure migration, transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in managing projects with cross functional teams or matrixed organizational environments.
  • Through understanding of project financial compliance, management reporting, and business transformation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with C-level executives.
  • Preferred qualifications as PMP and/or PRINCE2 certifications, CSM (Scrum Master), and SAP Activate credentials (an added advantage).
