About the role

  • Project Manager at EML managing Mutual Benefits funded projects to improve outcomes for employers and injured workers. Responsible for stakeholder engagement, project management, and governance with strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Development of project documentation to monitor and manage project movement, including (but not limited to); Project initiation and Business Case, Project Charter & Plan, Project Schedule, Budget & Resource Plan, Risk and Issues Register, Change Management Plan, Status Reports
  • Manage external providers, by developing contracts, collaborating on project deliverables, and ensuring quality
  • Develop and maintain collaborative and effective relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Initiate and facilitate workshops as required to assist with the definition of requirements and design of solutions
  • Proactively identify risks and issues on the project and facilitate mitigation/resolution
  • Plan, schedule and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Regularly monitor and report on progress to all key stakeholders

Requirements

  • 2-3 years demonstrated experience in managing projects on a large spectrum, or similar experience as a project co-ordinator
  • 2-3 years of workers compensation or claims management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodology would be highly advantageous
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
