About the role
- SAP Data Engineer supporting MERKUR GROUP's evolution into a data-driven company. Responsible for data integration, modeling, and collaboration with various departments in Group Finance.
Responsibilities
- Support MERKUR GROUP on its journey to becoming a data-driven company
- Build a harmonized enterprise data model
- Integrate data from various source systems into our data warehouse solutions (SAP BW / SAP Datasphere)
- Take ownership of data modeling, ETL processes, and monitoring
- Shape the transformation of our current analytics landscape
- Work closely with process owners from different business areas and develop solution concepts
- Support the development and implementation of a corporate Data Governance
Requirements
- Degree in (business) informatics or a comparable IT qualification
- Solid knowledge and project experience in SAP BW or SAP Datasphere and/or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAP SAC)
- Knowledge of SAP BPC is a plus
- ABAP skills specific to SAP BW are advantageous
- Business-fluent German and good written and spoken English
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with an independent and structured way of working
