Responsibilities
- Operation and orchestration of containerized applications with Kubernetes
- Securing systems by implementing RBAC, Network Policies and Pod Security Policies
- Carrying out container security measures
- Creating, maintaining and managing Helm charts for deployment automation
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
- Implementing and operating monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Diagnosing and resolving performance, deployment and networking issues in distributed systems
- Automating infrastructure management with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in a similar role
- Willingness to perform backend development
- Strong knowledge of and practical experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications
- Proficient with container technologies such as Docker or containerd
- Preferably experience with AWS S3
- Experience creating and maintaining Helm charts
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi or similar)
- Good shell scripting skills
- Experience with Linux tools
- Knowledge of configuring firewall and routing components
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is desirable
- Good communication skills in German at a minimum C1 level
- Strong team orientation and enthusiasm for actively shaping collaboration
