About the role
- Instrument Management Technical Assistant responsible for preparing surgical instruments and ensuring logistics in a modern hospital setting focused on teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Work in the interface role between external sterile-goods processors and the central operating theatre (Central OR)
- Responsible for assembling case trolleys for surgeries according to standard templates
- Inspect sterile goods and oversee storage logistics
- Place and manage orders for consumable supplies
- Monitor processes and integrate into the sterilization/reprocessing workflow
Requirements
- Completed training as an Operating Room Technician (OTA) or Registered Nurse (m/f/d)
- Ideally several years of professional experience
- Qualification as a Technical Sterilization Assistant with Fachkunde II (specialist sterilization certification), or completed training as a Medical Assistant (MFA) with extensive OR experience
- Independent, experienced and structured working style
- High sense of responsibility
- Ability to work effectively in a team
