About the role
- Adaptive Planning Consultant transforming business planning needs for clients using Workday solutions. Leading implementations, training sessions, and supporting client success while managing and developing staff.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients to transform their business planning needs with Workday Adaptive Planning
- Lead implementations for clients, managing all phases of the project
- Develop and configure accurate forecasting and planning models
- Conduct training sessions and document planning models
- Support clients to ensure success and communicate regularly with them
- Collaborate internally and support business development activities
- Manage, coach, and develop staff
Requirements
- Comprehensive financial and/or management accounting experience, particularly budgeting, planning and management reporting
- Experience implementing at least one Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning, Host Analytics, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion)
- Experience of designing and building complex financial planning models, with advanced Excel skills
- Strong communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation.
- Good understanding of project methodologies, how to manage to them and an appreciation of why and how they contribute to successful projects
- A demonstrated ability in managing, coaching and developing members of your team and wider community.
