Responsibilities
Central point of contact for fundamental legal questions with a focus on compliance, anti-corruption prevention and data protection
Coordination of company-wide risk management and data protection as well as participation in the implementation and effectiveness monitoring of measures in close coordination with management, the CFO, the information security officer, the external data protection officer, department heads and managers
Development and implementation of compliance tools and a Compliance Management System, including guidelines, policies and instructions
Advising business units on drafting and updating standard contracts for customers, suppliers, service providers and employees
Supporting certifications and external audits, as well as conducting internal audits and controls to identify risks and prevent losses
Supporting HR in planning and delivering training on compliance topics such as anti-corruption, data protection, occupational health and safety, and IT security
Preparing reports for management and, where required, drafting external compliance and data protection reports
Requirements
Successfully completed the Second State Examination in Law (qualified as a fully qualified lawyer)
Several years of professional experience as an attorney/fully qualified lawyer, ideally in a law firm or the legal department of a company
In-depth knowledge of civil law, particularly contract law
Knowledge of unfair competition law, data protection, IT law or public procurement law; professional experience in compliance or quality assurance is an advantage
Analytical thinking, independent and structured working style, and strong problem-solving skills
Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Confident user of MS Office
