About the role

  • Bilanzbuchhalter responsible for compliance and quality standards in financial services for Germany and Bulgaria. Focused on training, internal controls, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure and further develop quality standards in the service delivery for Germany and Bulgaria
  • Implement and coordinate the internal control system for financial accounting
  • Provide training and support in the creation of training materials and on technical questions
  • Manage data protection, compliance and professional regulatory matters
  • Responsible for internal accounting as well as monthly and annual financial statements

Requirements

  • Professional experience: Ideally a career progression from Accountant, Bilanzbuchhalter (certified financial accountant) or Steuerfachangestellter (tax clerk) with experience in quality and process management
  • Professional qualifications and experience: Solid knowledge of accounting (DATEV), financial statements and tax law
  • Process optimization and digitalization: Strong affinity for standardization and automation
  • Communication and collaboration: Excellent communication skills and intercultural competence
  • Hands-on mentality: Practical, solution-oriented working style
