Responsibilities
Support the identification, evaluation and structuring of co-development and M&A projects for large-scale battery storage
Participate in negotiations with project developers, investors and partners — from initial contact through to contract signing
Conduct economic analyses and financial modelling to assess investment decisions
Work closely with Delivery, Operations, Finance and Legal teams for a comprehensive project assessment
Coordinate external consultants and law firms in due diligence and negotiation processes
Prepare presentations, decision papers and business cases for management and investors
Requirements
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Energy Economics, Finance, Law or a comparable field
3–5 years of professional experience in M&A, investment, corporate development or project development — ideally in the energy or infrastructure sector
Good understanding of purchase/acquisition agreements, ownership structures and project financing
Experience in financial modelling and project valuation is desirable
Strong communication and negotiation skills, and a structured, analytical way of working
Fluent German and very good English
