About the role
- Junior Controller working with Finance and Management at ju:niz Energy. Supporting financial reporting, budget planning, and performance analysis in a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities
- Support in preparing management and performance reports as well as analyses to inform decision-making
- Participation in budget planning, forecast preparation and liquidity overviews
- Independently perform variance analyses including commentary and derivation of KPIs for various business areas
- Collaboration in cross-functional projects, e.g. in the budget process or during system implementations
- Preparation of cost center and performance evaluations in close coordination with the specialist departments
- Take on a key-user role in the ERP system, e.g. for cost center and cost structure topics
- Further develop controlling processes, reports and data structures
- Close collaboration with Accounting in the context of monthly and annual financial statements
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or Accounting
- Initial practical experience in controlling or finance, e.g. through internships, working student jobs or an entry-level position
- Interest in truly understanding business models, projects and economic relationships
- Analytical thinking as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Excellent Excel skills and enthusiasm for working with data
- Openness to digital applications and systems and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new tools
- Very good German skills and English for everyday work
