About the role

• Biomanufacturing Quality Data & Applied AI Intern at KBI Biopharma. Internship for graduate-level students applying AI and data analytics in Quality System challenges.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to KBI’s Chief Strategy Officer.
• Co-develop an AI draft scoring prototype.
• Test prompting strategies and model evaluation.
• Analyze deviation metadata and trends.
• Build prototype deviation heatmaps.
• Assist in building automated reporting logic.
• Create Power BI dashboards or Python scripts.
• Prepare explanation materials and summaries.

Requirements

• Graduate student in Biomanufacturing/Biotech
• Working knowledge of QMS, deviations, RCA, CAPA
• Strong interest and curiosity in AI for Biomanufacturing
• Self-directed and proactive
• Familiarity with cGMP, Python, data structures, and Power BI
• The ability to iterate AI prompts
• Microbial processing exposure
• Project Management skills
