About the role
- FinOps Manager Contractor providing impactful finance solutions for multiple UK startups and scaleups. Work fractionally while building collaborative relationships with founders and teams.
Responsibilities
- Managing accountancy and finance operations for multiple UK startups and scaleups.
- Identifying and implementing scalable solutions to automate and optimize systems and processes.
- Build collaborative relationships with external partners and RORA's own FinOps team.
- Mentoring and develop RORA's international FinOps Associate team.
- You can expect to work fractionally (1–3 days per week per client), supporting several exciting businesses across a typical week.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting (startup/scaleup experience mandatory.)
- Professional finance credentials (e.g., ACCA, ACA or CIMA) preferred.
- Confident in producing management reporting and implementing financial processes.
- Experience with cloud-based financial software typically used by startups (e.g., Xero) and tools such as Dext, Pleo or similar.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships.
