About the role
- Founding Senior Fund Accountant at Odin handling fund administration and tax processes. Building the operational structure for fund logic with a focus on automation and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Product to embed fund logic into the platform
- Build the operational structure for fund administration from first principles
- Own fund administration across UK nominee, English LP, Delaware LP and other fund structures
- Take responsibility for fund tax & reporting mechanics
- Own interactions with external auditors on funds
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex fund questions
- Ensure integrity across capital accounts, ownership records and fund-level data
- Handle internal operational finance BAU
- Contribute to complex operational projects related to fund structures
Requirements
- You are a qualified accountant with strong technical grounding.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience and are comfortable taking full ownership of complex financial processes.
- You have direct exposure to fund structures or closely related environments.
- You think in systems, looking for ways to tighten controls and reduce manual risk.
- You communicate clearly, particularly when explaining complex financial mechanics to sophisticated stakeholders.
- You’re precise, logical and calm under pressure.
