About the role

  • Counselor leading dynamic group therapy sessions at a recovery community. Engaging with members and facilitating community outreach in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead 2–3 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum
  • Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach
  • Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches
  • Monitor member progress and document outcomes
  • Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members
  • Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree
  • Required licensure or certification: LCSW, LPC, LMHC, MCAP, LMFT, CAP
  • Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting
  • High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps
  • Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal proficiency preferred)
