About the role
- Project Manager leading SAP Digital Manufacturing implementation projects at Syntax. Driving digitalization and optimization for intelligent manufacturing solutions across various domains.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM) implementation projects from planning to go-live and support
- Plan, coordinate, and control all project activities, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
- Act as the primary contact for customers and manage cross-functional project teams across SAP and production domains
- Guide process design for manufacturing execution, traceability, quality, and shop floor integration based on SAP DM
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP DM and SAP S/4HANA, as well as connectivity to OT and IoT systems
- Support presales activities, including workshops, solution design, and effort estimation
- Contribute to the continuous development of Syntax’s Digital Manufacturing portfolio and best practices
- Mentor and coach colleagues within the Digital Manufacturing team
Requirements
- Solid experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Digital Manufacturing projects
- Ideally, hands-on experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM) in design or implementation
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production logistics, and shop floor integration
- Proven experience in IT project management and agile methodologies
- Familiarity with S/4HANA manufacturing and digital production scenarios
- Excellent analytical skills and a structured, proactive way of working
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Fluent in English (German language skills are an advantage)
