About the role

  • Senior Group Accounting Specialist managing finance-related data and calculations for a global energy tech company. Ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Gather underlying data and calculate accruals, Long-Term/Short-Term Incentive cost true-ups, changes in Investments, declaration of Dividends etc.
  • Liaise with Treasury and provide relevant bank accounting entries (loans, FX hedges, internal treasury system entries)
  • Perform regular cash flow forecasting for group HQ entity
  • Calculate Group Fees allocation for billing
  • Calculate Shared Service Centre Fees Allocation for Billing
  • Administer HQ company credit card applications
  • Support annual global insurance premium updates and calculate premium recharges
  • Manage Swiss VAT group returns
  • Own Swiss statutory accounts
  • Follow-up on statutory accounts filings of all entities
  • Administer Concur Travel & Expense tool

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in related finance area
  • University degree in finance/accounting
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards
  • Practical experience with ERP software (accounting and finance), proficiency in SAP is an advantage
  • Strong communicator in an international environment, fluent in English
  • High level of integrity, commitment, and responsibility
  • Able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
