About the role

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT and digital transformation projects
  • Serve as the primary contact between business units and IT
  • Gather, analyse, and interpret business needs, translating them into actionable functional specifications for IT teams
  • Support the development and ongoing maintenance of project management frameworks, documentation, and reporting structures
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate workflows, and optimise digital tools across the company
  • Evaluate the impact and risks of proposed changes, new initiatives, and system enhancements
  • Organise and deliver training sessions, workshops, and user support to enhance system adoption and utilisation
  • Facilitate the effective adoption and use of core business applications and digital tools
  • Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support, including troubleshooting IT systems
  • Develop and implement project tracking and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress, resource allocation, and outcomes
  • Prepare and present regular status updates to management and key stakeholders
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement
  • Recommend enhancements to project management and business analysis practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems , or a related field
  • Professional certificates (e.g., BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis, Microsoft Certifications, TOGAF, ITIL, CBAP, IIBA-AAC) are a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in financial or consulting sectors
  • Knowledge of Maltese regulations (GDPR, MFSA, etc.) is a plus
  • Fluent in English , both written and spoken
  • Strong understanding of financial products, regulatory requirements, and technology solutions
  • Experience with BI and reporting tools and core business applications
  • IT governance experience is a plus
  • Ability to identify AI-enabled opportunities and turn business needs into practical solutions
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
