Responsibilities

  • Take on responsibility for the Purchase Ledger, including: Receipt and inputting of all Purchase-related invoices
  • Reconciliation of invoices to Purchase Orders
  • Schedule and execute payment runs
  • Supplier statement checks & reconciliations
  • Keep accurate records of all PL invoices and actions taken in Xero
  • Assist with preparation of VAT returns
  • Accruals & Prepayments and adjustments
  • Bank and PSP reconciliations
  • Assist with preparation of documents for audits

Requirements

  • Top grades in A-Levels (Accounting/Finance/Economics)
  • Aspirations to be a Qualified Accountant (studying or wanting to study ACCA)
  • 2+ years experience of working in finance & accounting
  • 1+ year experience of working with Maltese VAT
  • Significant experience of managing the Purchase Ledger
  • Fluent communication skills in English
  • Experience of using Navision is a strong asset
  • Experience of working with atlassian technologies would be advantageous
