About the role

Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining Java-based backend systems within the IoT domain.
- Working with Kubernetes-based services that support device and data operations.
- Taking responsibility for parts of the gateway fleet, including monitoring, updates and version control.
- Ensuring stable and traceable data flows from devices to cloud services.
- Participating in troubleshooting and deeper technical investigations and contributing to documentation, validation activities, and root cause analysis when required.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
- Several years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong focus on backend development in Java and Kubernetes.
- Experience with IoT, connected devices or large-scale distributed systems.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with Python, cloud platforms (preferably Azure), Infrastructure as Code, GitHub Actions, and knowledge of gateways, networking or cellular communication, as a plus.
