About the role

  • Fleet Regional Operations Associate managing day-to-day fleet operations at Johnson & Johnson. Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to manage day-to-day fleet operations, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, fuel management, compliance, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Coordinate daily fleet activities (e.g., vehicle delivery and return, maintenance, repairs) to ensure operational efficiency and deliver a positive experience for fleet-eligible employees.
  • Act as a primary contact and liaison between LCs, FMCs, OEMs, vendors, and internal J&J functions to maintain strong relationships and resolve issues.
  • Balance local business needs with J&J’s global fleet strategy by collaborating with internal stakeholders on forecasting, vehicle specifications, and operational requirements.
  • Support implementation of strategies and process improvements to drive cost-effective and efficient fleet operations.
  • Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and service level agreements to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Analyze regional fleet performance data and provide insights to optimize costs and efficiency.
  • Resolve escalations from fleet-eligible employees (e.g., maintenance issues, pool car availability, vehicle replacement).
  • Provide regular updates on regional fleet activities, risks, and challenges to the GS Fleet Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in fleet operations, procurement, or related roles.
  • Proven experience managing relationships with FMCs, OEMs, and suppliers, with a track record of meeting KPIs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of fleet operations best practices and regional regulations withing EMEA.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required; additional European languages such as Italian are advantage.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, work flexibly, and collaborate effectively in a global, evolving environment.
