About the role

  • Lead Analyst managing financial analysis and support for Supply Chain Finance at Smucker. Optimize performance metrics and provide leadership to finance team in hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize business performance by providing Supply Chain cost support and financial analysis to internal teams
  • Provide leadership to the Supply Chain Finance team to ensure continued professional development and technical skills
  • Provide financial analysis, interpretation and communication of key issues and metrics to leadership along with recommendations for course correction
  • Track Operational Metrics / KPIs and manage performance
  • Maintain a “pulse” on business trends and perform dynamic planning to help both SBA and Supply Chain Services meet business goals
  • Support Distribution actuals and forecast needs
  • Develop / deliver monthly Reporting for leadership
  • Participate in business planning; prepare and coordinate Distribution plan and work with Supply Chain and Operations Finance partners
  • Be a leader in supporting the Warehousing organization
  • Identify areas of improvements and standardization
  • Participate in projects – when needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years of accounting or finance experience
  • Supply Chain Accounting or Supply Chain Finance Experience
  • Experience utilizing or updating financial dashboards (ex: Spotfire, tableau)
