About the role

  • Bookkeeper providing accounting support for property management teams in retail environments. Responsible for reconciliations, invoices, and maintaining financial records with relevant software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting support for the property management team
  • Make collections calls
  • Enter cash receipts
  • Enter billing adjustments
  • Perform tenant ledger reconciliations
  • Enter invoices
  • Ensure proper audit trail and supporting documentation
  • Review leases and leasing activity and ensure accurate billing
  • Maintain sales information
  • Collect sales reports
  • Enter sales into accounting system
  • Assist the property accountant as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate’s degree in accounting
  • 2-3 years bookkeeping experience in a retail environment preferred
  • Microsoft Office product knowledge, Excel and real estate accounting software preferred
