About the role

  • Vendor & Contracts Manager responsible for managing vendor performance and compliance across JLL's national portfolio. Requires strong relationship-building and data analysis skills among others.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage various delivery requirements associated with vendor engagement and contract transitions
  • Ongoing performance management of approximately 300 vendors nationally
  • Support the Facilities Management operations with vendor escalations and issues resolution
  • Manage vendors appointed by JLL on the Client account, ensuring operational readiness and performance through the JLL Vendor Management framework
  • Conduct monthly reviews of SLA scorecards and assessments, overseeing compliance management including due diligence and vendor checks
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting on vendor performance for JLL and the Client
  • Manage monthly meetings to monitor SLAs, work orders, invoice management, complaints, HSSE, and contractual commitments
  • Ensure contractual compliance for all contracts between JLL and Principal service partners on behalf of the Client
  • Develop and implement supplier scorecards with metrics, monitoring, and reporting for key suppliers
  • Identify and mitigate supplier risk across multiple levels while managing subcontractor compliance and performance
  • Provide education and training to vendors and the wider FM team on vendor management best practice

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar vendor or contract management role
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors of all sizes, including Aboriginal vendors and those servicing remote and regional areas
  • Proven ability to review and interpret detailed contractual documents including terms and conditions, scope specifications, and management specifications
  • Strong aptitude for interpreting and analyzing numerical data with exceptional attention to detail, particularly as it relates to property and building management
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude and ability to interact professionally at all levels
  • Strategic thinker with proven problem-solving abilities using quantitative approaches and a results-oriented mindset
  • Quality and continuous improvement focus with the ability to manage conflict and balance client and firm requirements
