About the role
- SHORAD Senior Analyst managing and providing technical support for defense programs at JANUS Research Group. Overseeing modernization planning and capability development for SHORAD systems.
Responsibilities
- Manages Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD) programs, including Avenger, Sentinel, and Stinger systems
- Provides analytical and technical support for capability development, modernization planning, and SPAR/POM integration
- Develops information papers, briefings, and program assessments addressing cost, readiness, and capability gaps
- Coordinates with ASA(ALT), T2COM, and ARSTAF to align SHORAD modernization with Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense priorities
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties
- Demonstrates expert analytical and technical skills in short-range air defense (SHORAD) systems
- Proficient in evaluating capability performance, sensor-to-shooter integration, and lifecycle cost analysis
- Skilled at modeling effectiveness and producing clear data-driven briefs and recommendations to support SHORAD modernization
