Responsibilities
Explore designs for environment, props and characters based on narrative and design needs, and present rough sketches to stakeholders.
Render artwork matching the established art style
Generate orthos for characters
Create 2d rendered images such as icons, modals and title screen to be implemented into the game.
Understand the technical limitation of our pipeline and work within those constraints.
Work alongside your broader art team to brainstorm ideas and pass work between other artists.
May be called upon to collaboratively solve design or product issues with individuals from those disciplines.
Requirements
3+ years of game experience as a concept artist.
Versatile art style.
Can create rough and highly polished 2D artwork.
Good understanding of the 3D art pipeline.
Great comprehension of human and animal anatomy.
Excellent at posing characters to communicate actions and emotions.
Can easily bring artworks to a fully rendered look, with a great understanding of lighting and materials.
Complete mastery of Maya and Adobe Creative Suite.
