About the role
- Cloud Architect role designing secure and scalable cloud architectures on AWS and Azure. Leading modernization initiatives and mentoring engineers while solving complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design secure, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud architectures across AWS and Azure.
- Build landing zones, network topologies, and reference architectures that support enterprise-grade workloads.
- Lead cloud migrations and modernization initiatives (VM → containers, monolith → microservices).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and implement GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/Terragrunt).
- Manage Kubernetes environments, including provisioning, upgrades, and scaling.
- Design and implement high-availability, multi-AZ/multi-region, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Create technical documentation, runbooks, and best practices, and collaborate closely with development teams.
- Mentor engineers and support teams in cloud architecture, Kubernetes, and IaC principles.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or Cloud Architect.
- Strong expertise in AWS or Azure architectures, networking, identity, and security.
- Skilled in Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Docker, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
- Experienced in designing resilient, scalable, DR-ready systems.
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking fundamentals, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience building or deploying AI/ML or GenAI workloads is a plus.
- Bonus: Experience with GCP, Oracle Cloud, or DigitalOcean in multi-cloud/hybrid environments.
