About the role
- IT Administrator designing and implementing complex high availability solutions at ituma GmbH. Requires expertise in Linux server administration and cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Based on your professional experience, you design and implement complex high-availability solutions using Keepalived
- Planning, implementation and management of complex IT systems based on existing and newly integrated hardware
- Monitoring operational processes and analyzing log files
- Effectively communicating information to management
- Troubleshooting incidents and participating in on-call duty
- Technical development and enhancement of our cloud services
- Creating and maintaining documentation
- Ensuring IT security and data protection concepts
Requirements
- You have a degree in Computer Science or a vocational qualification as an IT Specialist for System Integration, with at least 5 years of professional experience
- You have a strong quality awareness and work independently in a structured manner
- You have good to excellent knowledge in administering Linux server systems
- You have solid knowledge in virtualization (VMware / KVM), firewall configuration, and routing
- You can read and understand Bash and Python scripts
- You can communicate confidently in German and English, both written and spoken
