About the role

  • Service Engineer responsible for maintaining and repairing Ingersoll Rand's industrial tools and lifting equipment. Ensuring optimal performance in manufacturing, maintenance, automotive, and transportation sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate power tools and lifting equipment at customer sites.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards during installation.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software faults.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Perform inspections and certifications for lifting equipment.
  • Maintain records of safety checks and compliance audits.
  • Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting assistance.
  • Guide customers on proper usage, maintenance, and safety practices.
  • Handle warranty claims and escalate complex issues to technical teams.
  • Maintain detailed service logs, inspection reports, and repair histories.
  • Document customer feedback and recurring issues for product improvement.
  • Train customers and junior technicians in equipment handling and maintenance.
  • Stay updated with new technologies, tools, and service protocols.
  • Visit customer sites for scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and audits.
  • Work in varied environments including construction sites, factories, and warehouses.
  • Revenue delivery and payment collections
  • Execution of Service agreements.
  • Maintain and update product installation base in the region.

Requirements

  • Diploma, B.Tech./BE or equivalent degree in Mechatronics /Electrical Engineering
  • 5-7 years’ experience in Industrial Power Tools and Lifting domain.
