Service Technician role focuses on troubleshooting and maintaining mobility equipment in healthcare settings. Support customers at various facilities across Canada ensuring operational equipment performance.
Responsibilities
Apply your technical knowledge to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Arjo equipment and products for the Arjo customer on-site within the care facility.
Support customers by securing the best possible condition for mobility products and solutions.
Schedule and provide preventative maintenance and repair services at healthcare facilities.
Effectively promote and sell Arjo service agreements and products.
Supervise equipment installation and/or performing uncrate and assembly services.
Instruct customer’s personnel in the operation and proper use of the equipment.
Assist sales personnel in marketing all Arjo equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads).
Maintain an organized parts inventory in a clean Company vehicle.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Postsecondary education in a technical field or equivalent experience
Field based electromechanical repair and maintenance experience
Face to face technical customer service experience
Sales and/or promotion of service products experience
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to recommend/promote/sell products and services based on observed client needs.
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and technical repair skills.
Ability to travel to multiple customer sites on a regular basis, including overnight stays when needed.
