About the role

  • Service Technician role focuses on troubleshooting and maintaining mobility equipment in healthcare settings. Support customers at various facilities across Canada ensuring operational equipment performance.

Responsibilities

  • Apply your technical knowledge to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Arjo equipment and products for the Arjo customer on-site within the care facility.
  • Support customers by securing the best possible condition for mobility products and solutions.
  • Schedule and provide preventative maintenance and repair services at healthcare facilities.
  • Effectively promote and sell Arjo service agreements and products.
  • Supervise equipment installation and/or performing uncrate and assembly services.
  • Instruct customer’s personnel in the operation and proper use of the equipment.
  • Assist sales personnel in marketing all Arjo equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads).
  • Maintain an organized parts inventory in a clean Company vehicle.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Postsecondary education in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • Field based electromechanical repair and maintenance experience
  • Face to face technical customer service experience
  • Sales and/or promotion of service products experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to recommend/promote/sell products and services based on observed client needs.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and technical repair skills.
  • Ability to travel to multiple customer sites on a regular basis, including overnight stays when needed.
