About the role
- Senior Consultant leading healthcare consulting projects for Pharma clients in Germany. Oversees project teams and communicates with key stakeholders ensuring successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex consulting projects in the areas described above (e.g., sales organization design, optimization of customer segmentation) for our pharmaceutical clients and clients in related industries (e.g., medical devices) at national and international levels, acting as the primary point of contact for client inquiries.
- Lead our project teams, potentially cross-disciplinary, from kickoff through successful project completion.
- Present project results to clients and facilitate workshops.
- Ongoing project controlling, including reporting, to support our internal finance processes.
- Provide partial support for business development, including concept development, proposal preparation and costing, and participation in client meetings in collaboration with the responsible Principal and Key Account Management.
- Develop and refine our consulting approaches and methodologies in conjunction with our IQVIA data and analytical tools, and support thought leadership activities (e.g., contributing to publications).
- Lead and participate in internal workstreams to further develop our team and organization, for example Training & Development.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional consulting experience with a focus on market-strategy topics—ideally in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong interest in and good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and market-specific conditions, especially in Germany.
- Experience in leading projects and in business development / client development.
- Proven track record in managing consulting teams and a genuine interest in developing employees.
- University degree in economics or natural sciences with above-average academic achievement.
- Excellent analytical thinking and a strong affinity for data, pronounced client orientation, and high resilience under pressure.
- Confident presence and very good presentation and facilitation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
- Very good proficiency in MS Office.
