Responsibilities
Manage the hotel’s day‑to‑day accounting activities, including revenue, costs, debtors, and cash handling, while ensuring accurate financial records.
Prepare monthly revenue and expenditure reports, monitor financial performance, and identify and report any variances.
Manage tax declarations in line with local regulations, maintain accounting records within the system, and oversee hotel assets and inventory.
Support payroll processes, maintain personnel records, help ensure staff insurance and related compliance requirements are met, and stay up to date with changes in accounting, tax, and financial regulations.
Requirements
A degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (such as working as a Hotel or Restaurant Accountant)
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a General Accountant or in a similar role
Proficiency in Accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
Strong attention to detail with a focus on financial accuracy
Good communication skills; ability to communicate in English is an added advantage
Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure
