About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage the hotel’s day‑to‑day accounting activities, including revenue, costs, debtors, and cash handling, while ensuring accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly revenue and expenditure reports, monitor financial performance, and identify and report any variances.
- Manage tax declarations in line with local regulations, maintain accounting records within the system, and oversee hotel assets and inventory.
- Support payroll processes, maintain personnel records, help ensure staff insurance and related compliance requirements are met, and stay up to date with changes in accounting, tax, and financial regulations.
Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (such as working as a Hotel or Restaurant Accountant)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a General Accountant or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on financial accuracy
- Good communication skills; ability to communicate in English is an added advantage
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure
