About the role

  • Management Accountant at Immersive, managing month-end processes and financial system improvements in Bristol. Overseeing financial reporting and supporting finance team initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Own the month-end cycle for Fixed Assets, Capex, Accruals, and Prepayments—not just executing the tasks, but identifying manual touchpoints to design and implement automated workflows.
  • Drive the audit process for their areas, providing timely evidence to external auditors.
  • Support and input in to finance system iterations (NetSuite, Jellyfish, etc.) to reduce time-to-close and improve data granularity.
  • Manage R&D/Capex processes for software development, ensuring compliance while capturing the true value of our product investment
  • Bridge the gap with FP&A by providing actionable insights into spend trends.
  • Mentor junior staff in AP/AR to ensure data quality at the source and collaborate with Finance Systems on COA evolution.

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Management Accountant, ideally within a SaaS, Tech, Cyber or consultancy environment
  • You are a Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or AAT Level 4
  • Prior experience running time sensitive month end processes within a finance/reporting team
  • Experience in a startup/scale up environment and able to work autonomously in a fast paced environment where priorities can swiftly change
  • You’re a pro-active, curious individual who can improve processes and reflect on what can be done better
