About the role
- Legal Director participating in fund agreements and documentation review at IntReal. Overseeing legal aspects for AIFs and coordinating internal compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the review and negotiation of all service agreements for a third‑party AIFM
- Actively participate in the review and negotiation of fund constitutional documents
- Support the operation and oversight of pre‑marketing and marketing activities for various funds
- Provide legal support for existing and newly launched fund products and services (AIFs)
- Coordinate, draft and regularly update fund documentation
- Organize and support the establishment and ongoing administration of direct and indirect subsidiaries of the AIFs
- Prepare and/or review partnership agreements, powers of attorney and issuance documents
- Prepare and organize minutes of general meetings and board meetings
- Analyze, implement and ensure internal compliance with legal and regulatory developments
- Review, negotiate and draft contracts
- Act as point of contact for supervisory authorities, auditors and external legal advisors
- Coach and review the work of junior team members
Requirements
- Degree in Law
- Minimum of 8 years' relevant professional experience in the fund industry, preferably in legal or fund-structuring roles
- In-depth knowledge of Luxembourg fund and corporate structures, particularly in the area of alternative investment funds (AIFs)
- Strong sense of responsibility, structured working style and initiative
- Solution-oriented with strong teamwork skills
- Fluent written and spoken English; German is an asset
