About the role
- Operations MTM Manager overseeing the development and implementation of MTM systems in German production sites. Leading MTM projects, training staff, and ensuring standard compliance.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for introducing and continuously developing the MTM methodology across the German production sites
- Strategic responsibility for the deployment of MTM methods (e.g., MTM-1, MTM-UAS, MTM-Easy)
- Lead and coordinate MTM projects for process optimization
- Develop and maintain MTM databases and time element modules
- Train, develop and coach employees in the field of MTM
- Act as the interface to Lean Management, Industrial Engineering and production planning
- Collaborate with the works councils of the German Interroll plants when explaining and implementing MTM
- Ensure compliance with standards and regulations in work measurement
- Report and present results to management and stakeholders
- Lead and contribute to interdisciplinary projects
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Work Science or a related field
- Certified MTM Practitioner or MTM Instructor (e.g., MTM-1, MTM-UAS)
- Knowledge and experience in the application of REFA methods
- Several years of professional experience in applying and leading MTM projects
- Experience in high‑variant serial production
- Leadership skills and project management experience
- Experience working with works council bodies
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work
- Confident use of MTM software tools and MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English (minimum C1 level)
