About the role
- Intern contributing to system software design and development for Intel platforms. Engaging in software optimization and exploring career opportunities in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Contributes to the design, development, and validation of system software across one or more layers of the software stack including firmware, drivers, operating systems, and/or middleware to enable Intel platforms and technologies.
- Engages in cross-stack software optimization and contributes to reference platform development for specific domains and market segments.
- As an intern, learns and applies knowledge, builds skills, and explores future career opportunities through hands-on experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Candidate must be pursuing a master's degree in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or other relevant related degrees with a software focus.
- The candidate must be knowledgeable in Software technology and methodologies.
- Experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is highly desirable.
- Experience in JavaScript.
- Experience in developing and integrating middleware solutions such as Express.js for Node.js, to build efficient and scalable server-side applications.
- Experience with database technologies to design, implement, and optimize database schemas, write complex queries, and ensure data integrity and security.
- Basic knowledge of user experience and interface design (UX/UI Design) to create intuitive and engaging web applications.
- Experience in other programming languages such as C++, Python, etc.
- Numerical algorithm design.
- Computational geometry algorithms.
