Responsibilities
- Welcome, inform and support families
- Establish and manage care contracts
- Provide active listening, advice and parenting support
- Organize settling-in/transition periods for new children
- Manage admissions, registrations, departures and emergency admissions
- Ensure the quality of care and the safety of the children
- Organize the team’s work: schedules, leave and replacements
- Supervise and support professionals within an educational setting
- Participate in recruitment and in disciplinary follow-up
- Monitor expenses, income and attendance data
- Implement regulatory inspections and controls
- Maintain relationships with institutional partners
- Work in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
- State diploma in pediatric nursing (puéricultrice) or equivalent
- State diploma in Early Childhood Education (Early Childhood Educator)
- Proof of at least 3 years’ experience in director/management roles in early childhood care settings (EAJE)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Strong knowledge of child development and Early Childhood regulations
- Organizational, planning and management skills
- Managerial abilities and a team-oriented approach
- Strong interpersonal skills, active listening and clear communication
- Autonomy, rigor and a strong sense of responsibility
