About the role
- Senior Consultant advising on SAP Controlling projects with expertise in S/4HANA. Collaborating with clients to implement technical solutions and optimize Controlling processes in Essen, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical consulting within client projects in the area of SAP Controlling, with a specific focus on SAP S/4HANA
- Design and implement Controlling solutions as part of SAP S/4HANA projects
- Develop and implement technical concepts in the context of our clients' SAP S/4HANA roadmaps
- Define system-architectural solutions for Controlling implementations
- Develop efficient, digital SAP structures for Controlling using SAP S/4HANA and integration options for SAP S/4HANA cloud solutions
- Contribute to the internal and external development of the S/4HANA business area with regard to current Controlling challenges
- Map Controlling processes, including customizing activities
- Opportunity to progress to a Team Lead role in the SAP S/4HANA Controlling area
Requirements
- Project experience and ideally at least one full project implementation in Controlling with SAP S/4HANA
- Solid knowledge of the technical implementation of SAP CO using SAP S/4HANA
- Customizing experience in Controlling with SAP CO
- Knowledge of cost element accounting, cost center accounting and experience with internal orders; additional expertise in any of these SAP Controlling areas is a plus
- Good integration understanding of SAP CO with SAP FI, AA (Asset Accounting), MM, SD, HR, PP, as well as consolidation, reporting and analytics
- Good understanding of enterprise organizational structure design and master data management
- At least three years of Controlling experience in management consulting or in a comparable client-side role
- Degree in Business Informatics or a business administration degree with a technical focus
- Strong service-oriented mindset
- Strong analytical thinking to solve complex client queries
- Fluent German and very good English skills
