About the role

  • Finance Assistant providing key support to IPA's financial operations by handling accounting tasks and maintaining financial records. Assisting with financial reporting and payroll processes while ensuring compliance and smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provides key support to IPA's financial operations by handling daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions (invoices, expenses, payments), reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting to ensure smooth processes and compliance.
  • Responsible for all NetSuite recordings including journal entries, offline vendor bills, and vendor bills payment.
  • Responsible for weekly manual bank reconciliation.
  • Ensures completeness of all financial documents in accordance with policies and procedures which includes scanning and filing.
  • Assist in checking payment requests and CA liquidations.
  • Responsible for all payroll input preparation and coordination with HR (Attendance Summary and VPD).
  • Assist in month-end report and year-end report closure.
  • Assist in annual external audits or any project related audits, mainly on document compilation and auditor coordination.
  • Provide support in implementing finance policies.
  • Provide support for any finance-related tasks.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience, bank reconciliation, and payroll knowledge.
  • Must have prior experience in the non-profit / NGO sector.
  • Proven experience in accounting software; NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Graduate of BS Accountancy or BS Financial Management or any equivalent degree.
