- Commercial & Operations Manager overseeing logistics and operations in tuna sector for Bolton Food. Leading strategic initiatives and optimizing commercial management in LATAM.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the key connection point across the whole round fish, precooked loins, and finished goods business lines, leading the operational structure for LATAM and supporting strategic decision-making for the region.
- Coordinate and optimize commercial and logistics operations across LATAM discharge ports, particularly in Ecuador and Panama.
- Oversee documentation, contractual, and regulatory processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Act as a key escalation point for resolving issues with clients, authorities, and stakeholders in the tuna sector.
- Collaborate with EMEA and WESPAC regions to strengthen global trading operations.
- Lead a young and dynamic team.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and sustainability across the operation.
- Represent Tri Marine before government authorities, ports, and strategic stakeholders in Ecuador and Panama.
- Ensure effective use of Microsoft Dynamics and other digital tools to support operational management.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience leading commercial management, logistics operations, international trading, or related areas.
- Deep experience in the tuna industry (mandatory, due to the level of interaction with authorities and the technical nature of the role).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or related fields; postgraduate studies or a master’s degree is a plus.
- Advanced command of Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, MS Teams, Smartsheet, Excel, and Outlook.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
- Availability for international travel (mainly South America).
