About the role

  • Temporary Procurement Specialist sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability. Managing procurement processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts, if any
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing
  • Ensure accuracy of purchase orders and timely system usage, including correct pricing, quantities, and terms.
  • Support audits by providing required procurement documentation
  • Manage supplier accreditation, renewal, evaluation and compliance requirements
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with PEZA rules and regulations, including proper handling of tax- and duty-exempt purchases.
  • Work with Finance to check supplier invoices and billings against purchase orders, contracts, and PEZA/BIR requirements before payment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Equivalent
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and sourcing strategies
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP or procurement systems
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
