About the role
- Temporary Procurement Specialist sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability. Managing procurement processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts, if any
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing
- Ensure accuracy of purchase orders and timely system usage, including correct pricing, quantities, and terms.
- Support audits by providing required procurement documentation
- Manage supplier accreditation, renewal, evaluation and compliance requirements
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with PEZA rules and regulations, including proper handling of tax- and duty-exempt purchases.
- Work with Finance to check supplier invoices and billings against purchase orders, contracts, and PEZA/BIR requirements before payment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Equivalent
- At least 2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and sourcing strategies
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP or procurement systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
