Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical leader for major projects
- Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects
- Support quote/proposal development by accurately estimating effort, time, and risk
- Review and interpret customer inputs and specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility
- Conduct detailed design engineering analysis
- Support new product introductions with site manufacturing teams
- Communicate complex technical subjects with customers and within the company
- Analyze risk trade-offs and recommend solutions
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level mechanical engineers
Requirements
- Minimum 11 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in a highly regulated industry a plus
