About the role

  • Accounting and Audit Intern at IMPACT Initiatives managing finance responsibilities in Geneva. Supporting the team with tasks related to the accounting cycle and external audits.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of payment vouchers, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and consistent
  • Record validated payment vouchers in the accounting system
  • Prepare import files to be posted as expenses in the accounting system
  • When requested, conduct screening of staff, partners, suppliers, or any entity seeking to establish a relationship with IMPACT Initiatives
  • Collect and cross-check all supporting documentation for sampled items, maintaining strict confidentiality of all data collected

Requirements

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and drafting skills for effective reporting
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., Finance, Business Administration)
  • Fluency in English required
