About the role
- Accounting and Audit Intern at IMPACT Initiatives managing finance responsibilities in Geneva. Supporting the team with tasks related to the accounting cycle and external audits.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of payment vouchers, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and consistent
- Record validated payment vouchers in the accounting system
- Prepare import files to be posted as expenses in the accounting system
- When requested, conduct screening of staff, partners, suppliers, or any entity seeking to establish a relationship with IMPACT Initiatives
- Collect and cross-check all supporting documentation for sampled items, maintaining strict confidentiality of all data collected
Requirements
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication and drafting skills for effective reporting
- Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., Finance, Business Administration)
- Fluency in English required
