About the role
- UX Design Intern at IJM, assisting in designing and improving digital experiences through research and prototyping. This internship offers hands-on UX design experience in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conducting usability audits and heuristic evaluations of existing products;
- Creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups;
- Developing user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts;
- Organizing and documenting research findings;
- Maintaining design files;
- Supporting team initiatives;
- Participating in departmental and general IJM administrative support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree must be in progress for DC/Remote Internships and applicants need to have completed at least two years of undergraduate study.
- Familiarity with UX design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
- Basic understanding of user research methods and usability testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
