Responsibilities
You will handle the procurement of goods as well as works and services in compliance with public procurement law.
You will advise our staff on all matters related to purchasing and procurement and serve as a knowledgeable point of contact.
You will manage and support procurement procedures from needs analysis through final commissioning in SAP.
You will communicate and negotiate with bidders, including in an international environment, in German and, if required, in English.
You will prepare the documents required for the procedure on e-procurement platforms (eVergabe) and review and evaluate submitted bids.
You will ensure legally compliant procurement for the institute together with the institute’s legal contacts and central procurement team.
Requirements
Completed technical or commercial vocational training with job-related further education, or alternatively a completed degree with a technical or technical-business background.
Ideally, professional experience in technical purchasing and/or in a research and development environment, as well as knowledge of public procurement law.
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
Self-initiative, strong communication skills and a confident demeanor.
The position is also suitable for entry-level candidates/recent graduates with relevant prior knowledge and experience from internships, study projects or theses.
